Biography of Chhatesawami:
Chhatesawami was an Indian poet and a devotee of Lord Krishna. He was born in 1515 in Mathura, India, to a family of Chaturvedi Brahmins. He is known for his contributions to the Ashtachhap poetry, which describes various leelas of Lord Krishna. Chhatesawami was one of the eight poets in the Ashtachhap group. He was also the priest of Birbal, a famous courtier of Emperor Akbar. Chhatesawami was a skilled poet and musician, and his works are still popular among devotees of Lord Krishna.
