What is the black box of airplanes and how does it work?

The 'black box' aircraft is a device to record all kinds of activities related to aircraft during flight. It is also called a flight data recorder. Generally this box is placed in the back of the aircraft in terms of safety.

History of 'Black Box':

In the beginning, due to its red color, it was called 'Red Egg'. In the earliest days, the inner wall of the box was blackened, probably due to its name being black box.

The color of these two boxes is not black but red or pink so that it can be easier to find.

2.Cockpit Voice Recorder:

Black box records the sound of the aircraft during the last 2 hours in the plane. It records the sound of the engine, the sound of an emergency alarm, the sound of the cabin and the cockpit's voice; So that it was possible to know what kind of aircraft was before the crash.

As mentioned above, the black box is made of very strong metal. It tolerates the temperature of 1100 ° C for one hour and keeps working for 30 days without electricity. When this box falls to some place, then every second takes out a beep sound / wave continuously for 30 days. The presence of this voice is 2 to 3 km by the investigative team. Is recognized from the distance. Another interesting thing is that it keeps sending indicators from 14000 feet deep sea water.
Although the black box does not show a clear picture of any plane crash; In many cases, it does not even get it. But it is so certain that it has an important role in knowing the reasons for an accident of an aircraft.
