Carrier of Mallika Srinivasan

At the age of 27, he joined the TAF in 1986. After joining the company, Mallika adopted an intuitive and sattvik business strategy from the very beginning. At the time when he joined the TAFA, the turnover of the company was around 85 crores and today it has increased to about US $ 160 million. With the support and guidance of his father and the Taffe team, Mallika got a positive change after one and gradually the TAFA has diversified its business into many areas, which include tractors, agricultural machinery, diesel engines, engineering plastics, hydraulic pumps And cylinders, batteries, automobile franchises and plantations.

With hard work, faith and passion, Mallika made the tafé a company based on high tech. However, all this was not as easy as seen today. There was a time when they also faced challenges.

The biggest challenge facing them was to transform the old technique of tractors. Says Mallika, "Indian farmers are demanding and very clever in spending their money. The biggest challenge before us was to transform the old techniques, designs and models of the tractor years. Adding new features to them, but not allowing cost and value to grow. "

In the 90's the tractor market also came under recession. In such a difficult time, Mallika introduced intuition and reduced the business by putting business growth, turnover and margin on the stake. They assured their dealers that the company was also with them in adverse conditions. This thinking raised credibility in the market of the Tafe.

In the year 2005, they bought Eicher's tractors engine and the Gears business. This has two advantages to the TAFE. Entry in one, low Horse Power tractor market and second, the US market infiltrated. With this acquisition, the company became national by not having a South Indian and came to the second place (first Mahindra and Mahindra) in the TAHA tractor market. The company's turnover reached almost 67 countries. Becoming a one billion dollar company became a global player of the tax-tractor and farm equipments industry.
